Who are YPAI customers?
YPAI customers are enterprises and tier-1 suppliers in regulated sectors: automotive OEMs and HMI platform providers (BYD, Cerence AI named publicly), data infrastructure partners (Nexdata named publicly), healthcare, financial services, and public-sector engagements. How is YPAI different from US-headquartered AI data vendors?
YPAI is Oslo-headquartered and EU/EEA-native. Customer data lives under EU jurisdiction by corporate structure, not by contract terms. The US CLOUD Act does not reach YPAI infrastructure. Annotation is run by in-house teams rather than a public crowd marketplace. For EU regulated customers concerned about cross-border data transfer rules, this is a structural difference, not a marketing position.
Does YPAI build its own AI products?
Yes. YPAI operates two AI products built on its data infrastructure: ThinkSustain AI for automated CSRD and ESG reporting, and Augnito Omni for clinical speech recognition across Nordic languages (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish). How does YPAI hire annotators and reviewers?
Reviewers and annotators are recruited in-house against locale, domain, and qualification. Pay is above local market floor with the wage basis documented in engagement governance. Crowd-marketplace dispatch is not part of the YPAI model. For freelance applications see /become-a-freelancer/.
